ARGON

Privacy Policy

What ARGON stores, why, and for how long. The operator of this instance is responsible for its deployment.

Data we process

  • Server configuration you set through commands or the dashboard.
  • Moderation cases, warnings, security incidents and audit records for servers that use those features.
  • Leveling XP, economy balances, playlists, giveaway entries and RSVPs you create by using those features.
  • Command usage (command name, server, user ID, success, duration) for analytics and abuse prevention.
  • Ticket transcripts, encrypted at rest, when a ticket is closed.
  • AI conversations, only when you use AI features, kept for the retention period your server sets (24 hours by default) and sent to the AI provider to generate replies.
  • Dashboard sessions: your Discord ID, username, avatar and encrypted OAuth tokens (scopes: identify, guilds).

Message content

ARGON reads messages to run AutoMod, leveling and logging. It does not store message content, except inside a ticket transcript or in a server’s own log channel when that server enables message logs. Servers can hide content in logs with /logs privacy.

Retention and deletion

Command logs are kept for 90 days; transcripts for the period each server configures (default 90 days); expired sessions are deleted automatically. Removing ARGON from a server keeps its configuration so it can be restored if re-invited; a server owner can ask the operator to delete all of a server’s data, which removes every related record.

Sharing

Data is not sold. It is shared only with the infrastructure that runs ARGON (database, hosting) and, for AI features you use, the AI provider.
